Alfred Enderby scooped another prestigious local award

Grimsby based Geographical Indicator traditional fish smoker, Alfred Enderby, has added to their tally of 2023 awards by winning Lincolnshire Food & Farming excellence award for Food Producer of the Year.
A packed audience at The Engine Shed, Lincoln, celebrated the success as proprietors Toni and Patrick Salmon accepted the award on behalf of the Alfred Enderby team.
Toni Salmon said "We're thrilled to have won the Lincolnshire Food & Farming award. A huge thanks to our team, suppliers and customers who support our smokehouse"
The husband and wife team are no strangers to winning awards. Patrick Salmon added "Our products are smoked in the traditional way over smouldering wood shavings in our ancient smokehouse chimneys which, over many years of smoking has a thick layer of tar on the chimney walls. The build up of tar helps create a thick layer of flavour and tannins that produce subtle individual smokey taste to our products ".
Alfred Enderby are associated with the Made Great In Grimsby brand and have the Geographical Indicator approval for their Traditional Smoked Haddock.
